You don’t have to be a club member to participate!
Half Marathon (13.1 Mi), 15K (9.3 Mi), 10K (6.2 Mi), 5K (3.1 Mi) & 1 Mile events:
Check-in/late registration starts no earlier than 30 minutes before each event.

These races will help you prepare for your next race! We will give out prizes to the top male and female finishers of each event. All registered runners get a carbohydrate drink, refreshments and water. We will time you and your time will be listed in the results.
We will have water & sports drink at the 10K turn-around mark (at 3.1 miles). Since the 15K will be passing by the 10K turn-around table twice, they will get refreshments again at 6.2 miles in.
If you want to volunteer or be paid to help $10/hour cash or $15/hour of Get Fit gift cards the day of the event, helping to mark the course with Mary Ann or Tammy an hour before the event, help with registration or timing, or help after the event, you can help take down the race. Thank you for helping or volunteering to help us continue to provide affordable, organized events!

Contributor’s Free entry for employees of running-related or local businesses who help advertise, donate prizes or give discounts on event supplies (see sponsor link). If your business has a poster hanging up from Utah Running Guide, any employee of that business can run for free.
WE NEED RELIABLE VOLUNTEERS AND PAID HELPERS TO HELP AT ANY OF THE EVENTS BEFORE, DURING AND/OR AFTERWARDS. WE WILL PAY UP TO $10/HOUR CASH and/or you may choose a gift card(s) from one of our sponsors, including Get Fit.
Volunteer options: Distributing or posting flyers or otherwise advertising, helping set up or taking down the course, timing, giving out prizes, organizing equipment, helping with registration and/or timing, directing runners on the course, helping at water stops, etc. You may use your credit for future events.

All proceeds, unless otherwise indicated, will help to improve www.UtahRunningGuide.com, helping all Utah runners and race directors to find the resources they need by providing the Utah Running Guide website. All Team In Training Events will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the runners who are part of the team who raise funds for their cause.

NCAA-Athletes: We uphold NCAA Rules, which means we won’t give any prizes besides ribbons to any pre-collegiate or collegiate athlete who is currently or wants to run on a college team unless it is during the official summer vacation until further review of the rules. High school athletes are allowed to have prizes any time of the year as long as the award does not exceed the cost of participation. For more details on the NCAA rules, see www.UtahRunningGuide.com.

*SUBJECT TO CHANGE. If you don’t pre-register, be sure to check the website the day before the race/event to make sure of the time, location, date, etc. You will be notified of any changes if you pre-register and given the option of a refund.
For regular notification/invites/reminders of each race/event, as well as other races in Utah, sign up on the facebook.com group “Utah Running Guide”. For priority notification of free race entries, special promotions and discounts on local races and events, you can join the “Utah Running Club” on facebook if you pay to join URC or otherwise contribute. Carpools, group discounts, prizes, etc. will be mentioned on these invites.
Online registration closes the day before the race/event, at 6pm.
4 WAYS TO PRE-REGISTER:
Note: If you have a free or discounted entry for contribution to URC or attending a training run, we ask that you please pre-register so we can notify you of changes and plan ahead. Use option 2 or 3.
There are several ways to register for the races below, including online, mail-in, delivery, and e-mail (for those with free entries). You can register online at runnercard.com for a small fee. If you have trained with the club then you get $1 off for each run, so you will need to mail in your registration so you can subtract it from your total.
1. REGULAR METHOD: PAY ONLINE AT RUNNERCARD.COM:
Click on the race/event of your choice above to be connected directly to that particular race/event on a race registration site (www.RunnerCard.com). If you decide to look for the event yourself by going to the main page at Runner Card, click here to go to the Road Race page of Runnercard.com, then look for the race. They are organized in order of date. Then click on the race/event and read the instructions there before proceeding.
2. MAIL/DELIVERY METHOD:
Print the REGISTRATION FORM (click here) and mail or deliver to the address shown at the top or bring it to a practice. Must arrive by the date that matches your registration fee.
3. FREE REGISTRATION OPTION: E-MAIL/MAIL:

4. REGISTER DAY OF:
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the event to sign the group waiver and fill out your basic info, and make a payment if necessary.
